Montinho De Ouro

The hotel is very beautiful. It's in the middle of nowhere, in a very quiet and relaxing place, but still very close to Luz and Lagos by car. The pool is awesome and the restaurant has a great view. There is private parking inside. Our room (with the pool view) is very large and has a small kitchen which was very handy.

Got to town didn't previously book a place. Found this absolute gem online and they had a room available!! It was late and dark so we really couldn't see what the place looked like till morning. Absolutely stunning!! Saved this special place and would absolutely stay there again!! Highly recommended!!

The place and location was amazing and the staff at reception had great hospitality.

Bedrooms are really spacious, comfy big beds and very comfy pillows, big bathroom and amazimg power shower, the pool is fantastic, the tennis court is in really good nick and a great addition to the hotel, the grounds are lovely with mountain views to the north and birdsong around, safe gated parking, staff were very helpful and went above and beyond. Breakfast had decent variety. It is a pleasant 25-30min walk to the beach or a 2min drive via quiet roads (we had no issues with free parking near the beach). I would recommend to any brits to not be put off coming to Portugal. Once you are here everything is great.

Pool was lovely , a bit cold when you got in, but lovely once you were in :)
